I am happy to report that my knees suddenly quit hurting just as quickly as they started. I don't know if it's the Knee Braces, the Anti-Inflammatory Cream, or if they just healed on their own; I did take a day off. I walked 21km yesterday and had intended to do it at a slow pace until it started deluging rain. At that point it was a full out sprint to the Hostel. We have a short day today as well so hopefully they will continue to behave themselves. It's cold outside so the knee braces actually feel good because they make my knees warm. Praise Jesus! (As my mom would say). Are you sure you didn’t drink waters from some healing waters on the camino and you can be claimed as a miraculous healing? So glad things may have turned the corner. Let my Dad guide you and keep taking Motrin regularly. And I’d keep icing things regularly.
Now that your knees are better, how’s your head? What are you thinking these days. Any life’s revelations that you can bring back to us non pilgrims?
All is well on the Wedt Coast. Of course we haven’t seen rain for more than a year (of much sognificance). If you see an appropriate altar or saint, please light a candle for us.
