Again, too tired to Blog. Actually it’s almost 3am and I just woke up (again) so I thought I’d at least post the FitBit stats. Yesterday was a hellish day hiking in the mud. Not only does it stick to your boots but every step is like a suction cup.
Even though today was only 20km, I felt every one of them. The good news however is that we are expected to have several beautiful days ahead so maybe I will get back into my groove. I see that my Blog traffic has plummeted over the last few days so I need to get on it. Don’t get too excited however because we are headed into what they call the Meseta. This is the Spain Equivalent of the Midwest. Flat and booooooooring.

Are your shin splints any better since you’re walking more slowly and into soft mud?

Joe:
I had to wrap them for a week or so and they improved dramatically but didn’t disappear. I’m taking 2 full days off in Leon and I should be 100% by the time we hit the trail again.
